About the Role

Activate Talent is seeking an experienced Excel Modelling Consultant to build a robust, Excel-based Commercial Gate Tool for their New Product Development (NPD) and Existing Product Development (EPD) operating system.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build an Excel-based Commercial Gate Tool covering Gate 1, Gate 2, and Gate 3
  • Create a clear, logical structure that aligns with existing NPD/EPD governance
  • Integrate automated calculations, including target COGS, volume, pricing, and margin scenarios
  • Build scenario-handling logic to support different sourcing routes and project types

Requirements

  • Expert-level Excel modeller with strong command of advanced formulas, scenario logic, and macros/automation
  • Proven experience building commercial decision-making tools and governance or stage-gate frameworks
  • Strong commercial acumen and operational decision-making skills
