Job Description

## About the Role The Executive Sales Leader role is a senior-level position responsible for driving market development and business growth in the Advanced Nuclear segment of GE Vernova's business. This involves identifying, developing, and closing commercial opportunities for BWRX-300 deployment with key customers globally. The ideal candidate will have deep industry knowledge and proven executive-level selling experience in the energy sector.

The role entails leading a sales team and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver revenue, margin, and long-term commitments. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of market economics, competitive dynamics, and energy technology and projects. They will also be able to build and maintain influential relationships with customers, regulators, policymakers, and industry groups.

As a leader in the sales team, the Executive Sales Leader will be responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies, building and leading a sales organization, and driving Lean principles to build effective commercial processes.

## What You Will Do - Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for SMR deployment in new and existing customer segments - Build and lead a sales organization responsible for sales efforts from prospects through proposals, contract negotiation, and deal closure - Develop executive-level relationships with customers and engage other stakeholders such as regulators, policymakers, and industry groups - Represent the company at key conferences, government forums, and industry roundtables as a thought leader in new nuclear markets - Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of market economics, competitive dynamics, and energy technology and projects - Identify and cultivate key partner relationships - Educate customers on the benefits of new nuclear, SMRs, and BWRX-300 technology - Lead and develop the sales team to map customer needs and solve business problems through a consultative approach - Develop strategic account plans and deliver revenue, margin, and long-term commitments

## What We Are Looking For - Minimum 10 years of senior sales, commercial development, or business development experience - Proven track record of selling complex, capital-intensive solutions to large customers - Minimum 10 years of experience within the Power Generation industry, with at least 3 years of experience in Nuclear - Bachelor's degree in engineering or business from an accredited university or college - Experience with direct management of employees - Strong knowledge of energy markets, PPA structures, and long-cycle sales in regulated and deregulated environments - Executive presence and experience building relationships with utility CEOs, industrial executives, and public officials - Strong familiarity with nuclear technologies, particularly SMRs, advanced reactors, or energy infrastructure finance

## Nice to Have - Postgraduate degree(s) in business and/or engineering - Experience working with cross-functional teams in highly regulated, technical industries - Strong commercial acumen - Complex contract negotiation experience
