Job Description

About the Role

The Expeditor role at Cactus Club Cafe is a crucial position that ensures dishes are executed correctly, delivered on time, and presented with perfection. As the liaison between the culinary and service teams, the Expeditor plays a vital role in maintaining the high standards of the restaurant. The Expeditor must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks to ensure seamless service.

The Expeditor will be working closely with the Chef and Management team to ensure that each plate leaving the kitchen meets the restaurant's high standards. This role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The Expeditor must be able to work well under pressure, think critically, and make quick decisions to ensure the success of the service.

What You Will Do

  • Manage the flow of dishes from the kitchen to the service team, ensuring timely delivery and presentation
  • Communicate effectively with the culinary and service teams to ensure seamless service
  • Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Work closely with the Chef and Management team to ensure high standards are met
  • Prioritize tasks and multitask to ensure efficient service
  • Ensure all dishes are executed correctly and presented with perfection
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Participate in pre-service meetings to ensure all team members are aware of menu items and specials
  • Collaborate with the service team to ensure exceptional guest experiences
