Experienced Data Scientist

What You Will Do

• Partner closely with marketing and product teams to diagnose business challenges and define appropriate data metrics, analyses, and interpretations
• Develop predictive models and performance reporting frameworks to enable stakeholders to make informed investment decisions
• Design clear, unambiguous narratives and data visualizations to communicate model outputs and analysis results
• Independently prototype and test new insights, moving from hypothesis to rigorous validation with minimal mentorship
• Reason effectively about the strengths and weaknesses of different modeling approaches, selecting and iterating on combinations that suit specific marketing contexts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic decisions and influence product and marketing strategy through data-backed evidence
• Develop and maintain large-scale datasets to support business decisions
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to continuously improve the team's capabilities

What We Are Looking For

• Senior-level experience in data science, with a strong background in statistical modeling and data visualization
• Expert proficiency in Python or R for sophisticated multi-dimensional data sets
• Advanced SQL skills to confidently manipulate and structure data
• Hands-on experience working across major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with data platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake
• Excellent English communication skills to interact with foreign teams
• Ability to work independently and self-organize tasks
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to build compelling narratives from raw data
• Ability to drive strategic influence, working across all levels of the organization to influence product and marketing strategy

Nice to Have

• Experience working with machine learning algorithms and deep learning techniques
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and Agile development methodologies
• Knowledge of cloud-based data warehousing and ETL tools
