About the Role
The experienced developer role at Essel Environmental is a full-time, remote position that requires a skilled professional to take the lead in developing and improving their SaaS application. The application manages timesheets, calculates payroll, invoices, and handles employee paperwork, among other features. What You Will Do
- Create and maintain a features list based on business needs and priorities
- Participate in daily standup meetings to discuss coding progress and align with the team
- Understand and implement frontend technology updates to enhance the user experience
- Ensure all components are thoroughly tested and maintained
- Maintain the staging site and ensure its stability
- Have a willing attitude to take on new challenges and suggest changes to improve the product
- Work responsibly and timely to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results
- Establish and follow a product roadmap to drive the application's growth
- Collaborate with the development team to identify and prioritize features
What We Are Looking For
- 5 years of programming experience, with a focus on Laravel PHP and frontend technologies
- A good eye for design and the ability to implement updates that enhance the user experience
- Knowledge of frontend technologies and their applications
- Experience working remotely and independently, with a strong ability to self-motivate
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the team
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems
