About the Role
The Facets Migration Lead role is pivotal in overseeing the migration and transformation of data within the healthcare payer space. This position requires a deep understanding of the Facets platform and the ability to lead end-to-end data migration efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all data migrations are accurate, compliant, and auditable, adhering to the stringent requirements of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).Day-to-day, the Facets Migration Lead will work closely with various teams, including business, technical, and vendor teams, to drive successful migration outcomes. This involves not only technical expertise but also strong leadership and communication skills to mentor and guide junior analysts and migration team members. The role is remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the United States, but demands a high level of discipline and self-motivation.
The healthcare payer space is highly regulated, and thus, the Facets Migration Lead must have a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of CMS programs, including Medicare Advantage and Medicaid. What You Will Do
- Lead the execution of data conversion strategies, including mapping, validation, and reconciliation processes.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and auditability of migrated data in alignment with CMS requirements.
- Provide subject matter expertise on Facets data tables, structures, and data movement.
- Develop and review complex SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Identify and resolve data issues, risks, and dependencies across the migration lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful migration outcomes.
- Oversee testing activities, including system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data migration processes, rules, and results.
- Mentor and guide junior analysts and migration team members.
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience with the Facets platform.
- At least 5 years of experience supporting CMS programs (Medicare Advantage or Medicaid).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience leading or supporting Facets transformation projects with a focus on data migration.
- Proficiency across all Facets modules.
- Experience working with Facets version 25.1 or newer.
- Deep knowledge of Facets data tables, data structures, and data movement processes.
- Strong technical expertise in SQL and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
- Proven experience overseeing data mapping, validation, and reconciliation efforts.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
