About the Role

The Field HR Communications Manager role at Sephora is a unique opportunity to lead labor relations and communication strategies for a diverse workforce. As a key member of the HR team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication plans that inform, inspire, and connect employees to Sephora's business and culture. You will work closely with field teams, including store and distribution center employees, to ensure that all communication is clear, engaging, and aligned with Sephora's values.

The role requires a high degree of self-direction, as you will be solely responsible for managing labor relations and HR communications for the distribution center workforce. You will operate as both a strategist and executional expert, with a strong understanding of labor laws and employment legal complexities. What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement effective communication plans for field teams, including store and distribution center employees
  • Manage labor relations and HR communications for the distribution center workforce, including editorial planning, writing, editing, and managing content
  • Create and distribute internal communications that inform, inspire, and connect employees to Sephora's business and culture
  • Partner with the Senior Director of Communications & Employee Experience and VP of External Communications on brand and reputational risk
  • Lead integrated internal communication campaigns that build awareness of key initiatives and strengthen employee engagement
  • Develop and maintain a Labor Relations Communications Playbook for use across the Sephora organization
  • Collaborate with field teams to ensure that all communication is clear, engaging, and aligned with Sephora's values
  • Analyze and report on communication metrics to measure the effectiveness of communication plans
  • Stay up-to-date with labor laws and employment legal complexities to ensure compliance and best practices
  • Travel as needed to support field teams and attend company events

What We Are Looking For

  • 6-9 years of experience in communications, PR, or a related field
  • Proven experience working with labor relations and field teams, specifically owning labor relations communication strategies
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and employment legal complexities
  • Experience working within or closely with a distribution center or manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of the nuances of communicating to a diverse employee population operating 24/7 across multiple time zones and work locations
  • Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline
  • Familiarity with email or digital publishing tools such as SharePoint, Mailchimp, LumApps, or Zipline
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, collaboration platforms, and experience with design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences
  • Ability to work independently in a remote-based position and travel as needed
