About the Role

The Field Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in developing and executing field marketing programs and events to drive pipeline and awareness for Ramp. As a key member of the Field Marketing team, the successful candidate will work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to refine Ramp's field strategy. This will involve building a strategy, planning, logistics, sales enablement, event productions, and budget management. With a focus on data-driven thinking, hands-on project management, and collaboration across functions, the Field Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving Ramp's growth.

The Field Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end field marketing programs and events, from ideation to post-event analysis and pipeline tracking. This will involve working closely with the Sales team and other key stakeholders to align event goals, audience targeting, and post-event learnings. The successful candidate will also be responsible for owning lead generation and pipeline targets for their territory and delivering data reporting and post-event learnings to the Sales, Growth, and Leadership teams.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute Ramp's field marketing strategy to drive net-new sales leads, accelerate existing opportunities, and deepen customer relationships.
  • Manage end-to-end field marketing programs and events, from ideation, audience targeting, sales enablement, technical production, and post-event analysis and pipeline tracking.
  • Partner with the Sales team and other key stakeholders to align event goals, audience targeting, and post-event learnings.
  • Own lead generation and pipeline targets for your territory.
  • Deliver data reporting and post-event learnings to the Sales, Growth, and Leadership teams to increase awareness and impact of the program.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize and test messaging, promotion, deliverables, and tactics that align with program goals.
  • Build a strategy, plan, and execute field marketing programs and events to drive pipeline and awareness.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to refine Ramp's field strategy.
  • Develop and manage budgets for field marketing programs and events.
  • Analyze data and metrics to measure the success of field marketing programs and events.

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in accelerating sales pipeline through events or programs for tech or SaaS organizations.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to own and build a territory plan based on company objectives and revenue goals.
  • Business acumen with a focus on quantitative goals and reporting.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to adapt in rapidly changing environments.
  • Ability to make decisions and recommendations in ambiguous situations.
  • Experience working with Sales and Marketing teams to drive pipeline and awareness.
  • Strong understanding of field marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Experience with data analysis and metrics to measure the success of field marketing programs.
