Job Description

About the Role

The Field Service LTC Technician will perform specialized field service work on Load Tap Changers and associated transformer equipment. This role involves hands-on installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of LTCs at customer sites across the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair Load Tap Changers (LTCs) and transformer components
  • Perform electrical testing and diagnostics on LTCs and related equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in LTC field environments
  • Prepare detailed field reports and communicate findings to management and customers

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Advanced post-high school education or 5 years of relevant field service experience
  • Experience in utility or power industry field service
  • Technical proficiency in LTC operation, transformer assembly, electrical testing, controls, or oil processing
