About the Role
The Field Service LTC Technician will perform specialized field service work on Load Tap Changers and associated transformer equipment. This role involves hands-on installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of LTCs at customer sites across the United States.Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair Load Tap Changers (LTCs) and transformer components
- Perform electrical testing and diagnostics on LTCs and related equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in LTC field environments
- Prepare detailed field reports and communicate findings to management and customers
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Advanced post-high school education or 5 years of relevant field service experience
- Experience in utility or power industry field service
- Technical proficiency in LTC operation, transformer assembly, electrical testing, controls, or oil processing
