About the Role

The Field Service Representative (FSR) role at Motorola Solutions is a senior-level technical position that plays a critical part in providing pre-sales and post-sales support to customers and internal stakeholders. As an FSR, you will serve as a technical subject matter expert, working closely with customers to assess their needs and deliver customized solutions. What You Will Do

  • Act as a technical subject matter expert and advisor for advanced wireless communication systems
  • Design and deliver technical demonstrations and system evaluations
  • Collaborate with the Engineering and Product Management teams to provide field-driven input into product design and enhancements
  • Conduct on-site and remote technical support, including field system diagnostics, network configuration, and optimization
  • Lead product demonstrations, evaluations, and long-duration user trials
  • Represent Silvus as a trusted technical advisor and proactively identify integration opportunities and performance improvements
  • Exercise independent judgment in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues
  • Operate autonomously in dynamic environments, balancing multiple customer engagements, travel schedules, and mission requirements
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Sales, Engineering, and Product Management

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in the wireless communication industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of advanced wireless communication systems, including MANET and MIMO technologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience with technical demonstrations and system evaluations
  • Knowledge of network configuration and optimization
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Engineering, and Product Management
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, such as Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
