About the Role
The Field Technician OOT I role is a critical position that requires extensive out-of-town travel and the ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company equipment, as well as complying with safety policies and procedures. Your day-to-day activities will include participating in safety programs, operating company equipment, and completing paperwork such as daily tickets and reports.The role is part of a larger team that is responsible for providing exceptional service to clients across the United States. You will be working closely with other field technicians, as well as operational staff, to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard. The team is supported by a strong management structure, with regular reporting and feedback to ensure that all members are working towards the same goals.
In terms of the work environment, you can expect to be working in a variety of settings, including outdoor locations and industrial sites. The role requires the ability to work in extreme weather conditions, as well as the physical dexterity to operate equipment and complete manual tasks.
What You Will Do
- Comply with safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Participate in safety programs to identify and mitigate potential hazards
- Operate company equipment in a safe and professional manner
- Assist with fuel and DEF checks to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained
- Complete paperwork such as daily tickets and reports to ensure accurate record-keeping
- Work closely with other field technicians and operational staff to complete tasks
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and stakeholders
- Identify and report any potential issues or problems to management
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
What We Are Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- 21 years of age or older
- Valid Class C driver’s license and good driving record
- Some computer knowledge, including proficiency in Excel
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Strong mathematical skills
- Excellent physical dexterity
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Ability to read, speak, write, and communicate in English
- Ability to pass a DOT physical or 'Fit for Duty' physical exam
- Pass a drug and background check
- Willingness to sign a non-disclosure agreement
