## About the Role The Finance Business Partner role at Andela is a critical position that will own the day-to-day planning, storytelling, and insights generation for the company. As a key member of the finance team, this role will serve as a partner to G&A functional leaders, driving business growth through data-driven insights. The FP&A function at Andela is being built from the ground up, and this role is one of its foundational hires. As a Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for driving business decisions through data-driven insights, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement, and developing strategic plans to drive growth.

## What You Will Do - Run Andela's core planning cycles end-to-end, including the annual budget, rolling forecast, and long-range plan - Maintain and evolve the corporate financial model, including the consolidated P&L, headcount, and cash flow model - Build and run scenario and sensitivity analyses to support strategic decision-making - Produce monthly financial reporting, including the revenue flash, consolidated P&L reporting, and variance analysis - Support board-ready reporting, building the underlying analysis and data that feed board presentations, monthly financial updates, and QBRs - Serve as a dedicated finance partner to G&A functions, including People/HR, Legal, and other teams - Own the finance relationship with G&A functions, providing strategic guidance and support - Develop and maintain financial models, including driver-based scenario models - Analyze and provide insights on key business metrics, including revenue growth, profitability, and cash flow

## What We Are Looking For - 5+ years of experience in finance, preferably in a business partnering or FP&A role - Strong expertise in financial planning, analysis, and modeling - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive business decisions through data-driven insights - Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner - Experience working with GTM, Excel, and Google Sheets - Strong leadership skills, with the ability to serve as a role model for the rest of the company - Low ego, low drama, servant leader mentality, with a strong ownership mentality and growth mindset - One team mentality, with the ability to break silos across teams and put the company and mission first

## Nice to Have - Experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing company - Knowledge of financial planning and analysis software, such as Anaplan or Adaptive Insights - Certification in finance, such as a CPA or CFA - Experience working with remote teams and stakeholders
