Cohere's mission to scale intelligence to serve humanity is ambitious and requires a team that is not only skilled but also passionate about making a difference. The company believes in creating an inclusive work environment where diversity of perspectives is valued and celebrated.

What You Will Do

  • Establish the 'M&A Playbook' for the company, covering everything from initial due diligence to post-merger integration
  • Coordinate across Engineering, HR, Legal, and Finance to identify risks and synergies during the deal phase
  • Drive the 100-day integration plan for newly acquired entities, ensuring culture, systems, and financial reporting are unified seamlessly
  • Architect and lead the end-to-end Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process, including the design of integrated planning timelines, standardized financial templates, and executive stage-gate reviews
  • Perform gap analyses between proposed Product/Engineering roadmaps and current headcount constraints to ensure the company has the necessary headcount to execute its highest-priority initiatives
  • Act as the 'special ops' lead for finance leadership on high-priority projects that don't have a natural home
  • Identify bottlenecks in current financial operations and design scalable, automated solutions
  • Manage and optimize resource capacity to align with the company's strategic goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic planning and execution

  • Proven ability to deliver change, improve and streamline processes, drive efficiency, and influence stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, constantly evolving environments
  • Startup/scaleup experience is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and drive insights
  • Experience with financial planning and analysis tools, such as Excel, Financial Modeling, and Data Visualization

Nice to Have
