About the Role
The Finance Transformation Analyst, Senior role at CareOregon, Inc. is a critical position that will drive process improvements and finance technology implementation across the organization. What You Will Do
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements across finance teams
- Track current finance capabilities and skill gaps to inform strategic planning
- Contribute to process designs that enhance productivity and accuracy, and reduce redundancy
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and incorporate industry best practices
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define and prioritize transformation projects and initiatives
- Monitor and report on the progress of transformation projects and initiatives
- Conduct complex reviews and assessments to inform transformation portfolio decisions
- Map capability development opportunities and highlight areas of interest (people, process, and technology)
- Participate in the evaluation of new technologies and tools to support finance transformation
- Lead the implementation of financial technology, software, and automation solutions
- Escalate project concerns through appropriate channels
- Create training materials and train finance teams on new technologies to ensure successful adoption
- Provide support to adjacent teams throughout transformation efforts
What We Are Looking For
- 4 years of experience in at least a mid-level financial planning and analysis or accounting position
- 2 years of experience using process improvement principles within a role
- Advanced understanding of finance and accounting, including internal controls
- Strong understanding of process improvement principles
- Excellent spreadsheet and word processing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to research and expand knowledge of applicable laws, statues, rules, codes, and ordinances
- Skill in organization and demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, shifting priorities, and meet changing deadlines
- Ability to apply logic to solve complicated problems
- Ability to quickly learn the organization’s current software and systems
- Ability to visualize and articulate future state options
- Ability to research and support State Medicaid funding requirements and questions
Nice to Have
- Experience with ERP implementation
- Experience working with Workday Core Financials
- Knowledge of finance transformation principles and best practices
- Certification in a related field, such as CPA or CMA
