About the Role

The Financial Services Operations Manager role at Cisco is a critical position that requires a unique blend of financial expertise, digital skills, and operational acumen. As a member of the Finance organization, you will be part of a highly collaborative, Agile-driven team that operates in 2-week sprints. Your primary focus will be on innovating the capabilities and functionality of Cisco Capital's Global Connect Applications, working closely with IT development teams to deliver enhanced platform functionality.

The team is composed of domain specialists who are passionate about process improvement, system functionality, and delivering high-quality results. They serve as teachers, creators, and influencers who prioritize effective communication, user training, and proactive support for production issues. As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in driving innovation and change, working closely with stakeholders to identify and document business requirements.

What You Will Do

  • Identify and document business requirements for the Global Connect Applications
  • Collaborate with IT development teams to deliver enhanced platform functionality
  • Manage the project backlog and plan future enhancements
  • Conduct gap analyses, impact assessments, and build process flow documentation
  • Craft test cases, report defects, and provide user training
  • Act as a domain specialist to resolve production issues and partner concerns
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including IT development teams and business leaders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement
  • Work closely with the Agile team to prioritize and deliver sprint goals

What We Are Looking For

  • 8+ years of related experience, specifically within Cisco Capital or a leasing company
  • 3-5 years of experience with the Infolease or related subledger receivables system
  • Experience with lease accounting, Agile methodology, product development, and testing cycles
  • Proficiency in applying accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) to classify and summarize financial transactions
  • Strong verbal and written business communication skills
  • Ability to detail complex processes, instruct classes, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience

Nice to Have

  • Experience with digital finance platforms and tools
  • Knowledge of cloud-based accounting systems
  • Certification in Agile methodology or a related field
