About the Role
The Fire Fighter role at Adani Airport Holdings Ltd is a critical position that requires a high level of skill, training, and physical fitness. As a Fire Fighter, you will be responsible for responding to emergency situations, including aircraft and structural fires, medical emergencies, and hazardous material incidents. You will work closely with the airport operations team, medical services, and external emergency agencies to ensure the safety and security of passengers, crew, and airport personnel.The Fire Fighter role is part of the airport's emergency response team, which is responsible for responding to a wide range of emergency situations. As a member of this team, you will be required to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, often in high-pressure situations. You will need to be able to think quickly and make sound judgments, as well as work effectively as part of a team.
The airport operations team is a critical component of the airport's overall safety and security framework. As a Fire Fighter, you will work closely with this team to ensure that emergency situations are responded to quickly and effectively. You will also work with the medical services team to provide medical assistance to injured or ill individuals.
What You Will Do
- Respond promptly to aircraft incidents, structural fires, medical emergencies, hazardous materials incidents, and other emergency situations on airport property
- Perform firefighting, rescue, and emergency medical services to ensure the safety of individuals and property
- Extinguish fires using various firefighting techniques, including the use of water, foam, dry chemicals, and other firefighting agents
- Conduct search and rescue operations in smoke-filled and hazardous environments
- Provide first aid and basic life support to injured or ill individuals until advanced medical personnel arrive
- Assist in the transportation of patients to medical facilities as needed
- Perform daily inspections and maintenance of firefighting vehicles, extinguishers, and personal protective equipment
- Maintain inventory of firefighting supplies and equipment and ensure their readiness for use
- Participate in routine emergency response simulations, ICAO-mandated training, and fire drills
- Maintain detailed incident reports, training records, and shift logs for regulatory audits
What We Are Looking For
- Diploma in Fire Fighting Technology or equivalent qualification
- Experience in firefighting, emergency medical services, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of firefighting techniques, including the use of various firefighting agents
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to think quickly and make sound judgments in high-pressure situations
- Physical fitness and ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
