Job Description

About the Role

The Fire Fighter role at Adani Airport Holdings Ltd is a critical position that requires a highly skilled and dedicated individual to respond to emergencies and ensure the safety of passengers, staff, and aircraft. As a Fire Fighter, you will be part of a team that is responsible for responding to a wide range of emergency situations, including fires, medical emergencies, and hazardous materials incidents. The team is led by the Duty Manager and works closely with other departments, including airport operations, medical services, and external emergency agencies.

The day-to-day responsibilities of this role are varied and challenging. You will be required to respond promptly to emergency situations, use a range of firefighting techniques and equipment, and provide emergency medical services to those in need. You will also be responsible for maintaining the fire station, fire trucks, and equipment, as well as participating in regular training exercises and drills.

The Fire Fighter role is a key part of the airport's emergency response team, and you will be working closely with other departments to ensure that the airport is safe and secure. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of physical fitness, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

What You Will Do

  • Respond promptly to emergency situations, including fires, medical emergencies, and hazardous materials incidents
  • Use a range of firefighting techniques and equipment, including water, foam, dry chemicals, and other firefighting agents
  • Provide emergency medical services, including first aid and basic life support
  • Conduct search and rescue operations in smoke-filled and hazardous environments
  • Maintain the fire station, fire trucks, and equipment, including daily inspections and maintenance
  • Participate in regular training exercises and drills, including ICAO-mandated training and fire drills
  • Collaborate with other departments, including airport operations, medical services, and external emergency agencies
  • Identify potential hazards during patrols and inspections, and take corrective action
  • Prepare and submit accurate incident reports, equipment logs, and other required documentation

What We Are Looking For

  • Diploma in Fire Fighting Technology or equivalent qualification
  • 2-3 years of experience in firefighting or a related field
  • Excellent physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations
  • Knowledge of firefighting techniques and equipment, including water, foam, dry chemicals, and other firefighting agents
  • Experience with emergency medical services, including first aid and basic life support
