About the Role
The Fire Fighter position at Adani Airport Holdings Ltd is a critical role that requires individuals to respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations within the airport premises. The airport's emergency response team is a close-knit group of professionals who work together to prevent and respond to emergencies. As a fire fighter, you will be an integral part of this team, working closely with other emergency responders, airport operations staff, and medical personnel to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the airport.
What You Will Do
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, including aircraft fires, structural fires, medical emergencies, and hazardous incidents
- Perform firefighting, rescue, and emergency medical services to ensure the safety of individuals and property
- Conduct search and rescue operations in smoke-filled and hazardous environments
- Provide first aid and basic life support to injured or ill individuals until advanced medical personnel arrive
- Assist in the transportation of patients to medical facilities as needed
- Perform daily inspections and maintenance of firefighting vehicles, extinguishers, and personal protective equipment
- Maintain inventory of firefighting supplies and equipment, ensuring their readiness for use
- Participate in routine emergency response simulations, ICAO-mandated training, and fire drills
- Maintain detailed incident reports, training records, and shift logs for regulatory audits
- Collaborate with airport operations, medical services, and external emergency agencies during incidents
- Coordinate with the Duty Manager, ATC, and airport authorities during emergency operations and drills
What We Are Looking For
- Diploma in Fire Fighting Technology or equivalent qualification
- Experience in firefighting, emergency response, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of firefighting techniques, equipment, and safety protocols
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and think critically in high-stress situations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Physical fitness and ability to work in challenging conditions
- Ability to adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures
- Familiarity with airport operations and emergency response procedures
