About the Role
The Fire Fighter role at Adani Airport Holdings Ltd is a critical position that requires a high level of physical fitness, mental toughness, and strong teamwork skills. As a Fire Fighter, you will be responsible for responding to emergency situations such as aircraft fires, structural fires, and medical emergencies. You will work closely with the airport operations team, medical services, and external emergency agencies to ensure the safety of passengers, crew, and airport personnel. In terms of team context, the Fire Fighter will report to the Duty Manager and work closely with the Airport Operations Team, Airport Security, Emergency Medical Services, and external emergency agencies. The role involves participating in routine emergency response simulations, ICAO-mandated training, and fire drills to ensure operational readiness.
What You Will Do
- Respond promptly to aircraft incidents, structural fires, medical emergencies, hazardous materials incidents, and other emergency situations on airport property
- Perform firefighting, rescue, and emergency medical services to ensure the safety of individuals and property
- Extinguish fires using various firefighting techniques, including the use of water, foam, dry chemicals, and other firefighting agents
- Conduct search and rescue operations in smoke-filled and hazardous environments
- Provide first aid and basic life support (BLS) to injured or ill individuals until advanced medical personnel arrive
- Assist in the transportation of patients to medical facilities as needed
- Perform daily inspections and maintenance of firefighting vehicles, extinguishers, and personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintain inventory of firefighting supplies and equipment and ensure their readiness for use
- Participate in routine emergency response simulations, ICAO-mandated training, and fire drills
- Maintain detailed incident reports, training records, and shift logs for regulatory audits
What We Are Looking For
- Diploma in Fire Fighting Technology or equivalent qualification
- Experience in firefighting, emergency response, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of firefighting techniques, emergency medical services, and rescue operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift heavy equipment
- Certification in first aid and basic life support (BLS)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
