About the Role
The Fire Fighter role at Adani Airport Holdings Ltd is a critical position that requires individuals to respond to emergency situations, including aircraft and structural fires, medical emergencies, and hazardous material incidents. As a member of the airport's emergency response team, the Fire Fighter will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of passengers, crew, and airport personnel.The Fire Fighter will work closely with other teams, including airport operations, medical services, and external emergency agencies, to respond to emergencies and provide support as needed. This role requires a high level of physical fitness, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills.
The airport's emergency response team is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all stakeholders, and the Fire Fighter will play a key role in achieving this goal.
What You Will Do
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, including aircraft and structural fires, medical emergencies, and hazardous material incidents
- Perform firefighting, rescue, and emergency medical services to ensure the safety of individuals and property
- Conduct search and rescue operations in smoke-filled and hazardous environments
- Provide first aid and basic life support to injured or ill individuals until advanced medical personnel arrive
- Assist in the transportation of patients to medical facilities as needed
- Perform daily inspections and maintenance of firefighting vehicles, extinguishers, and personal protective equipment
- Maintain inventory of firefighting supplies and equipment and ensure their readiness for use
- Participate in routine emergency response simulations, ICAO-mandated training, and fire drills
- Maintain detailed incident reports, training records, and shift logs for regulatory audits
What We Are Looking For
- Diploma in Fire Fighting Technology or equivalent qualification
- Experience in firefighting or a related field
- Excellent physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively in emergency situations
- Knowledge of firefighting techniques and equipment
- Familiarity with airport operations and emergency response procedures
