Job Description

About the Role

The Flutter Developer role at ASPER BROTHERS is a unique opportunity to work on a cutting-edge digital health solution that aims to make mental health services more accessible and affordable. As a senior developer, you will be responsible for developing a Flutter app, a therapist web app, and an admin panel, all of which will be used to connect users with therapists and provide a seamless experience. You will be working on a project that has the potential to impact the lives of thousands of people in the Asian and Australian markets.

The role entails working on a complex system with multiple stakeholders, including users, therapists, and the internal team. You will be expected to communicate effectively with the team and other stakeholders to ensure that the project is delivered on time and to the required standard. As a senior developer, you will also be responsible for mentoring junior team members and contributing to the development of the company's technical vision.

ASPER BROTHERS is a dev shop/software house with a strong focus on using the latest technologies to drive innovation. The company has a team of 30 people and is growing steadily, with a commitment to self-sufficient scrum teams and a culture of continuous learning and development.

What You Will Do

  • Develop a Flutter app for users to sign up and access therapists
  • Develop a therapist web app for connecting with users
  • Develop an admin panel for the internal team to use
  • Work with state management systems and design patterns to ensure the application is scalable and efficient
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure the application meets the required design standards
  • Work with the QA team to identify and fix bugs
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure the code is of high quality and follows best practices
  • Contribute to the development of the company's technical vision
  • Mentor junior team members to help them grow and develop their skills

What We Are Looking For

  • At least 4 years of experience in developing mobile applications
  • At least 2 years of commercial experience in developing Flutter applications
  • At least 2 years of commercial experience in working with Dart
  • Commercial experience of working with state management systems and design patterns
  • A solid knowledge of Flutter packages and libraries
  • Commercial experience of writing unit and integration tests
  • Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English
  • Experience working on complex systems with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with the team and other stakeholders

Nice to Have

  • Experience working on digital health solutions
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
  • Experience working with remote teams
  • Certification in Flutter or Dart development
