Job Description

About the Role

The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing the front of house operations for the Restaurant/Hotel, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and compliance with safety, health, and hygiene requirements. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and be able to motivate and direct their team to achieve goals and objectives.

As a key member of the management team, the Food and Beverage Manager will be responsible for providing training, direction, supervision, and hands-on support to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant and hotel. This role will also involve managing inventory, processing payroll, and performing various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.

What You Will Do

  • Manage the front of house operations for the Restaurant/Hotel, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction
  • Provide training, direction, supervision, and hands-on support to team members
  • Direct associates and supervisors to accomplish goals and objectives of the food and beverage operation
  • Ensure the proper preparation of food and beverages to the satisfaction of guests, brand, and company standards
  • Hire and train service staff to ensure a high level of customer service
  • Process bi-weekly payroll and manage inventory and supply ordering
  • Oversee banquet and kitchen operations to ensure smooth execution of events
  • Facilitate communication, engagement, and conflict resolution as needed by the team
  • Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or certificate, post-high school education and degree preferred
  • Minimum of two years of food and beverage supervisory experience required
  • Knowledge of three meal restaurants and hotel food and beverage operations preferred
  • Excellent leadership and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish, both written and verbally
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a similar size restaurant operation
  • Knowledge of room service and hotel operations
  • Certification in food safety and handling
