What You Will Do
- Provide 1-on-1 counseling to students aged 14-17 to build their extra-curricular profiles and applications
- Meet remotely and in-person with students to discuss their progress and provide guidance
- Share admissions content expertise to direct the strategy of students' profiles
- Provide feedback to foster students' independent writing skills
- Generate creative trajectories and projects for students' extracurricular development
- Collaborate with a team of up to three counselors to support each student's progress
- Develop and implement personalized plans to support students in achieving their academic goals
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in undergraduate admissions
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of the company's educational philosophy
What We Are Looking For
- Undergraduate admissions experience at a top-30 ranked university or a top-15 liberal arts college
- Experience evaluating applications and making acceptance decisions
- Phenomenal writing skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds
- Knowledge of undergraduate admissions processes and procedures
- Familiarity with digital tools and platforms used in education
Nice to Have
- Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field
- Undergraduate or high school teaching experience
