What You Will Do

• Build and ship features for North, Cohere's AI workspace platform
• Develop autonomous agents that talk to sensitive enterprise data
• Experiment at a high velocity and with a high level of quality to engage customers and deliver solutions that exceed their expectations
• Work across the entire product lifecycle from conceptualization through production
• Collaborate with clients to develop and deploy AI solutions
• Develop a deep understanding of client needs and challenges
• Work closely with a team of researchers, engineers, and designers
• Develop and maintain a high level of technical expertise in AI and related technologies
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase
• Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and prioritize project requirements

What We Are Looking For

• Experience with Python and ability to ship high-quality code
• Strong coding abilities and comfort working across the stack
• Experience with backend, infrastructure, agent development, and deployments
• Strong understanding of AI and related technologies
• Experience working with clients and developing a deep understanding of their needs and challenges
• Fluency in English and Arabic (optional)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Experience with Excel and ability to analyze and interpret data

Nice to Have

• Experience with client-side or server-side RAG/agentic applications
• Experience with AI workspace platforms
• Knowledge of finance, healthcare, or telecommunications industries
• Experience working with a range of clients and developing a deep understanding of their needs and challenges
• Participation in open-source projects or personal projects related to AI
