## About the Role The Forward Deployed Engineer, DevOps role at Parloa is a critical position that combines technical expertise with operational instincts. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and deploying AI agents and workflow automations, building dashboards, and managing resource planning and allocation. Your primary goal will be to eliminate manual, repetitive operational work and drive efficiency gains across the organization. Parloa's mission is to make every customer conversation feel effortless, and as a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will play a vital role in achieving this goal. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Solution Engineering and Professional Services, to build and maintain a coherent operating model. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Ops, BizOps, or Program Ops, with experience supporting technical, customer-facing teams in SaaS. You should be comfortable working with Salesforce, Rocketlane, SAP, and other tools to drive operational excellence.
## What You Will Do - Design and deploy AI agents and workflow automations to eliminate manual, repetitive operational work - Build and maintain dashboards to track key metrics and drive decision-making - Manage resource planning and allocation in Rocketlane to ensure the right people are on the right projects - Own the integration layer between Salesforce, Rocketlane, SAP, Jira, and reporting tools - Build and run the weekly, monthly, and quarterly rhythm, including pipeline and capacity reviews, delivery health check-ins, and QBR support - Partner with Finance and RevOps on services drivers and call out constraints proactively - Maintain forecast accuracy as a tracked, trusted metric reviewed at the executive level - Manage invoicing workflows and revenue recognition accuracy in SAP - Support milestone billing triggers and ensure alignment between delivery milestones and finance timelines - Build and maintain an end-to-end capacity model across PS roles and regions
## What We Are Looking For - 5+ years of experience in Ops, BizOps, or Program Ops supporting technical, customer-facing teams in SaaS - Proven track record of building operating cadence, capacity planning, and PS forecasting - Experience with dashboard ownership and strong operational storytelling - Familiarity with Rocketlane or equivalent PSA tool ownership, including resource planning, project tracking, and utilization reporting - Hands-on experience with AI agents applied to operational workflows, such as timecard automation, resource recommendations, and project health alerts - Invoicing and revenue recognition experience, with comfort in SAP or a comparable ERP - Strong systems thinking, with the ability to connect Salesforce, Rocketlane, and SAP into a coherent operating model - Data fluency, with the ability to model capacity and turn messy, multi-system data into decisions
## Nice to Have - Familiarity with n8n, Zapier, or equivalent integration tooling - Experience designing and deploying workflow automations - Knowledge of Jira, Databricks, Swarmia, Elvance, and other tools in Parloa's tech stack - Executive communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas concisely and directly
