Forward Deployed Engineer, Prompt Specialist

In terms of reporting structure, you'll be working closely with the enterprise engineering teams and the North platform team to ensure seamless integration and deployment of AI solutions.

What You Will Do

• Review, refine, and iterate on prompts for Cohere's Command model to enhance performance across diverse customer agents and use cases
• Collaborate with clients to refine custom tools and conduct rigorous evaluations to ensure alignment with their objectives
• Contribute to defining and shaping core agents for out-of-the-box deployment on Cohere's North platform
• Design and build tailored agents that deliver measurable improvements to customer operations
• Partner directly with customers to define and track key metrics, including quality, efficiency, and accuracy
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for agents and tools
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in AI, machine learning, and natural language processing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer success

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience deploying LLM-powered agents in production environments, with a focus on scalability and real-world impact
• Enthusiasm for solving complex challenges in enterprise settings through agent-based solutions
• Ability to thrive in collaborative environments, bringing diverse perspectives and knowledge from varied industries
• Technical versatility, with experience operating at the intersection of software engineering and machine learning
• Background in analytics, NLP, or related fields
• 0-5 years of professional experience, with a growth mindset and eagerness to shape the future of AI-driven agents
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with large language models, including training and fine-tuning
• Knowledge of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
• Experience working with cloud-based platforms, including AWS or Google Cloud
