Job Description
## About the Role As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Vercel, you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing cutting-edge solutions for enterprise customers. Your day-to-day will involve collaborations with cross-functional teams, including GTM, product, and core engineering, to deliver large-scale projects that drive business growth. This role is crucial in understanding customer pain points, translating them into concrete product solutions, and ensuring the successful deployment and operation of these solutions. You will work closely with customers, providing on-site workshops, discovery sessions, and technical enablement, and feed back insights to the engineering and product teams to continuously improve Vercel's offerings.
The role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, particularly in Next.js, React, and TypeScript, and the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Given the nature of the work, you must be comfortable with travel to customer sites and working autonomously with minimal supervision. The position is ideal for someone who is passionate about AI-assisted development, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems, and who is eager to contribute to a fast-paced, innovative environment.
