About the Role

The role of a Founder Ghostwriter at Paired is a unique and challenging opportunity for a skilled writer to make a significant impact on the company's content strategy. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging content across various platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram. Your primary focus will be on scripting and writing in the founder's voice, ensuring that all content is consistent, compelling, and reflective of the company's brand and values.

The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will involve extensive research into the latest trends and developments in Google Ads, direct response marketing, and the wider digital marketing space. You will need to be adept at turning complex concepts into accessible, engaging content that resonates with the target audience. Collaboration with the founder and other team members will be crucial, as you work together to develop and refine the content strategy and ensure that all output meets the highest standards of quality.

What You Will Do

  • Script LinkedIn and Twitter content across every content pillar, including Google Ads, direct response thought leadership, ecommerce operator perspective, agency building, business philosophy, and personal brand.
  • Write Instagram video scripts and contribute to the development of other formats as needed.
  • Conduct extensive research into DTC, direct response, and the wider digital marketing space to stay ahead of the curve and identify opportunities for timely, relevant content.
  • Collaborate closely with the founder to shape the direction and content pillars of the personal brand.
  • Utilize Claude and other tools to produce high-quality content at volume, leveraging AI capabilities without compromising on quality or voice.
  • Work alongside the content team to maintain a consistent voice and calendar, ensuring that all content is optimized for maximum impact.
  • Develop and refine the personal brand, contributing to its growth and evolution over time.
  • Engage with the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing, staying up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices.
  • Provide input and insights on content performance, using data and analytics to inform future content strategies.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience as a ghostwriter for a founder, executive, or personal brand, with a portfolio that demonstrates your ability to capture and convey the voice and tone of your subjects.
  • Native-level English language skills, with the ability to write fluently and idiomatically.
  • Comfort and experience with writing across multiple platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram.
  • Strong research skills, with the ability to quickly and effectively identify relevant trends, topics, and insights.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a high degree of self-motivation and discipline.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with the founder, content team, and other stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Claude and other content creation tools, with the ability to leverage these to produce high-quality content at scale.
  • Strong understanding of direct response marketing principles and the ability to apply these in your writing.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new topics, technologies, and trends in the digital marketing space.

Nice to Have

  • Experience writing for the digital marketing or Google Ads space, with a deep understanding of the latest trends and best practices.
  • Familiarity with German, although this is not a requirement.
  • Previous experience working in a remote or distributed team environment, with the ability to self-manage and prioritize your workload effectively.
  • Certification or training in content marketing, copywriting, or a related field.
