About the Role

The day-to-day responsibilities will be diverse, ranging from backend and frontend development to integrating complex logistics, geo, and real-time data into the platform. Given the startup environment, the ability to adapt, innovate, and make decisions quickly will be key to success. The role offers a unique blend of technical challenges and the opportunity to make a significant impact on the daily operations of logistics companies and the lives of truck drivers.

What You Will Do

• Own product-critical features end-to-end, from database schema and backend APIs to frontend and mobile integration.
• Develop and further enhance the React Native app, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of drivers and logistics companies.
• Integrate logistics, geo, and real-time data into the product to provide predictive, less stressful, and more efficient operations.
• Collaborate with the founding team, engineering lead, customers, and drivers to develop reliable product solutions.
• Work in a dynamic startup environment, making decisions and taking ownership of your work.
• Participate in testing frameworks like Jest to ensure the quality and reliability of the software.
• Stay updated with the latest technological advancements in AI, mobile development, and logistics to continuously improve the product.
• Participate in agile development methodologies to ensure prompt delivery of features and fixes.
• Collaborate with the team to design and implement new features and improvements based on customer feedback and market trends.

What We Are Looking For

• Professional experience with TypeScript and Node, along with a corresponding testing framework like Jest.
• Solid experience with React and React Native, with knowledge of Expo being a plus.
• Understanding of backend systems, API integrations, and data models.
• Previous experience in fast-paced software teams, preferably in a startup or scale-up environment.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools and a natural inclination towards leveraging them in daily workflow.
• Interest in mobile development, logistics, geo data, or automation.
• Independent working style with a high bar for reliable software.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, real-time data, or LLM/voice features is a nice to have.

Nice to Have

• Experience with mobile apps, especially those involving routing and maps.
• Knowledge of real-time data processing and its applications in logistics.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and its management.
• Previous involvement in projects related to logistics or supply chain management.
• Experience with voice features or LLM integration in software applications.
