Job Description

About the Role

Coreli is seeking a highly skilled Founding Engineer to join their team, focusing on building and improving their AI-powered landing page platform. As the first engineering hire, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's technical direction and contributing to the development of new features. You will work closely with the co-founders to define the product roadmap and ensure that the platform meets the needs of its users.

The ideal candidate will have experience working across the full stack, with a strong proficiency in languages such as React, Node.js, and TypeScript. You will be responsible for building new features, maintaining and improving the existing codebase, and collaborating with the co-founders to make key product decisions.

Coreli's platform is designed to help creators build professional-looking landing pages that reflect their brand and style. With a strong focus on user experience and design, the company is looking for an engineer who can balance technical expertise with a creative approach to problem-solving.

What You Will Do

  • Build new features end-to-end, working across the full stack
  • Maintain and improve the existing codebase, including fixing bugs and improving performance
  • Own backend reliability, ensuring that the platform is stable and secure
  • Work with AI APIs to integrate machine learning capabilities into the platform
  • Write and maintain scraping infrastructure to support data collection and analysis
  • Collaborate directly with the co-founders on product decisions and roadmap planning
  • Debug and resolve technical issues, using tools such as PostgreSQL and Supabase
  • Develop and implement automated testing and deployment scripts
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience working across the full stack, with languages such as React, Node.js, and TypeScript
  • Strong understanding of AI-assisted development and machine learning principles
  • Proficiency with database management systems, including PostgreSQL and Supabase
  • Experience with project management tools, such as Linear
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team
  • Passion for the creator economy and digital marketing
  • Experience working with startups or early-stage companies, with a focus on rapid growth and iteration
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance technical expertise with creative thinking

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Supabase, Drizzle ORM, or PostgreSQL at depth
  • Experience with AI/LLM APIs and machine learning frameworks
  • Interest in the creator economy, digital marketing, or brand building
  • Experience working with design-focused companies or products
