About the Role
Vercel is seeking a Fraud Specialist to join its Trust & Safety team, protecting the platform from abuse areas like fraud, phishing, and malware. The successful candidate will collaborate across teams to strengthen and scale Vercel's fraud prevention capabilities.Responsibilities
- Investigate abuse vectors causing financial loss or reputational risk
- Monitor, maintain, and improve fraud detection and anomaly alerting systems
- Develop and refine operational workflows to scale fraud prevention efforts
- Manage and monitor the performance of internal tooling and fraud rules
- Work cross-functionally to mitigate areas of risk
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in fraud or chargeback operations, investigations, or a related Trust & Safety vertical
- Experience with user restriction systems and setting, tracking, and using KPIs
