About the Role
The Temporary Assistant Web Retoucher role at URBN is a unique opportunity to work on model apparel, beauty, and lifestyle retouching for e-commerce. As part of the Free People Collection and Free People Movement teams, you will be responsible for ensuring that all images meet the highest standards of quality and authenticity. The primary objective of this role is to hit a minimum daily output of retouched images while maintaining image quality and authenticity. Self-motivation and good time management are essential skills for this position.The role requires collaborating with the lead retoucher and team to ensure that all images feel cohesive and natural. You will need to react quickly to requests and pivot when necessary, making this a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a team environment and be willing to pitch in when needed.
What You Will Do
- Retouch on-model images for Free People's Web Studio
- Meet the retouching standards for FP Brands to ensure all images feel cohesive and natural
- Meet minimum daily image goals of 80-100 images per day
- React quickly to requests and pivot when necessary
- Work collaboratively with the lead retoucher and team
- Be available to answer emails and messages promptly
- Ensure that all images meet the highest standards of quality and authenticity
- Retouch images for e-commerce, including apparel, beauty, and lifestyle products
- Use technical skills in Adobe Photoshop to achieve high-quality results
- Collaborate with the team to achieve daily and weekly goals
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 1-2 years of professional retouching experience on models
- High level of technical skill in Adobe Photoshop CC
- Proficiency in Wacom tablet and pen
- Availability for regular daytime working hours, Monday to Friday
- Relevant experience in a fast-paced environment, e-commerce or studio
- Proven experience retouching model and product photography
- Experience in Athletic & Swim wear is a plus
- Experience in a team environment with the ability to display willingness to pitch in

- Knowledge of e-commerce trends and best practices
