Job Description
About the Role
As a freelance designer at Eneso, you will be part of a dynamic team that prioritizes hiring individuals based on their core values rather than solely focusing on hard skills. Your role will involve creating refined brand identities, websites, messaging, campaigns, and marketing materials for a diverse range of clients. With a strong emphasis on research and craftsmanship, you will be driving the evolution and prosperity of financial services, B2B, corporate, and non-profit organizations.Your day-to-day activities will include collaborating with the design team to conceptualize and develop innovative design solutions, working closely with clients to understand their design needs, and presenting design concepts and final designs to clients. You will also be responsible for staying up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and methodologies to continuously improve your skills.
Eneso values creativity, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills in their designers. As a freelancer, you will have the flexibility to work remotely, but you are also welcome to work on-site at their Providence, RI location if you prefer.
What You Will Do
- Design and develop high-quality visual elements such as logos, icons, and graphics for various clients and projects
- Create motion graphics, animations, and video content for digital campaigns and social media platforms
- Develop and maintain consistent brand identities across different mediums, including websites, social media, and print materials
- Conduct research to stayed informed about the latest design trends, technologies, and methodologies
- Collaborate with the design team to conceptualize and develop innovative design solutions
- Work closely with clients to understand their design needs and preferences
- Present design concepts and final designs to clients, and incorporate feedback to improve the design
- Stay organized, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
- Participate in design critiques and contribute to the growth and development of the design team
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the clients' business goals and objectives
- Create PowerPoint and Google Slides presentations for clients and internal teams
What We Are Looking For
- Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and experience in logo and brand design, motion graphics, UX design, and print collateral design
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with clients and team members effectively
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Experience working with Excel, with the ability to manage and analyze data
- A bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in design, with a focus on freelance or agency work
- Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and typography
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn
Nice to Have
- Experience with design systems, and the ability to create and maintain consistent design languages
- Knowledge of front-end development principles, with the ability to work closely with development teams
- Experience working with clients in the financial services, B2B, corporate, and non-profit sectors
- Certification in design software, such as Adobe Certified Expert (ACE)
- Experience working on global campaigns, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines
