About the Role
The role of a Freelance Designer at Haus involves working closely with the Los Angeles team on a variety of digital projects, from conceptualization to delivery. This position requires a high degree of creativity, strong design fundamentals, and the ability to collaborate effectively with Art Directors, Senior Designers, and other team members. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for digital experiences, and a drive to continuously learn and grow.As a Freelance Designer, you will be an integral part of the team, contributing to the development of concepts, refining executions, and delivering polished work across static and video formats. Your work will have a direct impact on the success of client projects, and you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of brands, from emerging startups to household names.

What You Will Do
- Design digital assets, visual concepts, and production-ready work across a variety of client projects
- Collaborate with Art Directors and Senior Designers to develop and refine concepts
- Contribute to moodboards, style frames, storyboards, and exploratory concepting
- Bring a curiosity about UI, motion, and interaction to your work
- Participate in discussions about project direction and strategy
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the latest design trends and technologies
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and apply this knowledge to improve your work
- Work closely with the team to ensure seamless project execution
- Provide and receive feedback to continuously improve the quality of work
What We Are Looking For
- 2-4 years of design experience with a portfolio that demonstrates range and craft
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe CC Suite
- Strong foundation in typography, layout, and visual communication
- An eye for motion and UI, with an understanding of how digital experiences behave
- Eagerness to learn, take feedback well, and do your best work in a collaborative environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience with project management tools and version control systems
