What You Will Do

• Evaluate AI-generated energy forecasts by assessing their accuracy and quality using a provided rubric.
• Analyze data to identify trends and patterns that could inform the improvement of forecasts.
• Communicate your findings and recommendations clearly to the team, contributing to the enhancement of Lightly AG's technology.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in the energy sector, applying this knowledge to improve the quality of forecasts.
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve common goals, sharing insights and best practices.
• Apply your experience in forecasting to help develop more accurate and reliable models.
• Participate in discussions on how to refine the evaluation process, ensuring it remains effective and efficient.
• Utilize your understanding of the energy market to provide contextual insights into the forecasts and their implications.

What We Are Looking For

• At least 2-3 years of recent experience in the energy sector, with a strong preference for candidates with forecasting experience.
• Fluency in English, as this is the primary language of communication within the team.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and communicate insights effectively.
• Experience with machine learning and computer vision is highly desirable, though not required.
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as energy engineering, environmental science, or economics.
