Freelance Legal Consultant (US Law) - AI Trainer

About the Role

Day-to-day, this role entails generating prompts to challenge AI systems, evaluating AI-generated solutions for correctness and logic, and applying structured scoring criteria to assess problem-solving capabilities. It requires a strong foundation in legal principles and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

What You Will Do

• Generate prompts that challenge AI systems to evaluate their reasoning and accuracy
• Evaluate AI-generated solutions for correctness, assumptions, and logic
• Improve AI reasoning to align with first principles and accepted standards
• Apply structured scoring criteria to assess multi-step problem-solving capabilities
• Collaborate with Mindrift's team to understand project requirements and objectives
• Work independently to complete tasks within the estimated 10-20 hours per week during active project phases
• Utilize digital skills to communicate effectively and manage project tasks remotely
• Contribute to the development of more accurate and reliable AI technologies
• Participate in project meetings and discussions as required

What We Are Looking For

• Degree in law (Bachelor, J.D., LLM, FLLM) within the US context
• 2+ years of legal practice experience within US jurisdiction
• Strong written English skills (C1/C2 level)
• Stable internet connection for remote work
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a project-based environment
• Understanding of US law and its applications in a digital context
• Experience with project management tools and platforms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
