About the Role
As a Freelance Website Copywriter at N4 Studio, you will play a key role in developing compelling, conversion-focused copy for a range of global clients. You will work closely with the project designer to develop the narrative and messaging direction for each website build, culminating in a client-facing presentation of strategic content recommendations and initial copy concepts. This is a freelance position, with the opportunity to work on a project-by-project basis, allowing you to balance your workload and pursue other projects and interests.The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of writing website copy across various industries and brands, with experience writing for businesses with complex offerings. You will be able to shift voice and tone without losing sharpness, and understand the relationship between copy and design.

What You Will Do
- Develop compelling, conversion-focused copy for a range of global clients
- Work closely with project designers to develop the narrative and messaging direction for each website build
- Create client-facing presentations of strategic content recommendations and initial copy concepts
- Develop polished, SEO/AEO-optimised, on-brand website copy, from first draft through revision rounds to design handoff
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure a seamless handover of content and design assets
- Conduct research to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in website copywriting
- Participate in content strategy workshops and messaging framework development
- Provide feedback and guidance to junior team members
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
What We Are Looking For
- Strong track record of writing website copy across various industries and brands
- Experience writing for businesses with complex offerings
- Ability to shift voice and tone without losing sharpness
- Understanding of the relationship between copy and design
- Familiarity with SEO principles and an understanding of how content performs in search
- Experience working in or alongside design teams
- Familiarity with Figma, as all content work is produced and presented directly in Figma
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
