About the Role

The French Speaking Digital Trust and Safety Analyst position at Mercier Consultancy BG is a critical role that involves protecting digital ecosystems, reviewing user-generated content, and investigating trust and safety incidents. This analyst will be working closely with a leading consumer electronics brand, ensuring the integrity of their online platforms. The role entails a deep understanding of digital risk, content moderation, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective content moderation policies.

The day-to-day activities of this role are centered around assessing user-generated content for potential risks, investigating incidents that compromise trust and safety, and working with various teams to create a safe and respectful online environment. What You Will Do

  • Review and assess user-generated content for potential risks and violations of platform policies
  • Investigate trust and safety incidents, including reports of inappropriate content or behavior
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and refine content moderation policies
  • Handle escalated cases that require careful consideration and swift action
  • Monitor platform health metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Contribute to regular reporting on trust and safety trends and recommendations for improvement
  • Work closely with the customer support team to ensure consistent messaging and handling of user reports
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's products and services to better assess risks and opportunities
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in digital trust and safety
  • Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders to share knowledge and best practices in content moderation and digital safety

What We Are Looking For

  • Native or fluent French language proficiency (spoken and written)
  • Valid EU passport
  • Previous experience in trust and safety, content moderation, digital risk, customer support, or a related online safety discipline
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and make informed decisions
  • Excellent written communication skills in both French and English, with the ability to craft clear, concise reports and policy documents
  • Experience with Excel and other data analysis tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams
