About the Role

Deliveree, a leading logistics and goods delivery provider in Southeast Asia, is seeking a fresh graduate to join its team as a management trainee accounting associate. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop digital skills in logistics and finance while working closely with key executives and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team responsible for financial and strategic planning, investor relations, corporate governance, liquidity management, and transactions.

The management trainee accounting associate will work directly with senior executives, providing support in areas such as financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. The role requires a high level of numeracy, with the ability to understand and apply mathematical concepts to everyday situations. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English, with excellent writing and speaking skills.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions
  • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting, including identifying areas for cost savings and process improvements
  • Support the development of financial strategies and plans
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to senior executives
  • Assist in investor relations, including preparing presentations and reports for investors and stakeholders
  • Support the management of liquidity and cash flow
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for external stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, advisors, and auditors
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and legislation

What We Are Looking For

  • University education in accounting or accountancy with high scores
  • Fresh graduates welcome to apply, with a maximum of 2 years of practical experience in accounting, law/compliance/tax, or investments
  • High level of numeracy, with the ability to understand and apply mathematical concepts to everyday situations
  • Ability to self-manage without daily micromanagement
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Fluency in English, with excellent writing and speaking skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
