About the Role
The Frontend Developer role at Quinncia Inc is a unique opportunity to join a fully remote team of innovators who are transforming the way career services are delivered to college students. As a core member of the frontend team, you will be responsible for enhancing the UI and UX of the company's platform, ensuring that it provides personalized feedback to students on their resumes and interviewing skills. This role matters, as it directly impacts the company's mission to integrate career readiness into the academic curriculum and ensure that every student has a job within 90 days of graduation.The team you'll be working with is collaborative, passionate, and dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions. You'll be working closely with the lead designer to ensure that the platform's UI and UX are aligned with the company's overall vision. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include writing high-quality code, testing, and debugging, as well as collaborating with the backend team to ensure seamless integration.
What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain the frontend of Quinncia's platform, ensuring a seamless user experience
- Work closely with the lead designer to ensure UI and UX alignment
- Write high-quality, efficient, and well-documented code
- Test and debug code to ensure it meets the company's standards
- Collaborate with the backend team to ensure seamless integration
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in frontend development
- Contribute to the development of new features and functionalities
- Ensure that the platform is accessible and usable across different devices and browsers
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise
What We Are Looking For
- Profound knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
- Practical and recent experience with React.js
- Experience communicating with RESTful services
- Experience with testing (e.g., Jest)
- Experience with bundling of JavaScript code (e.g., Webpack)
- Deep knowledge of CSS, preprocessors (e.g., Sass)
- Experience with GraphQL
- Strong logical skills and understanding of design patterns
- Ability to predict edge cases for handling different issues
- Good understanding of UI and UX principles
- Experience working with agile development methodologies
Nice to Have
- Experience with Docker
- Knowledge of Ramda
- Experience with other technologies and tools that can enhance the platform's functionality
