About the Role

As a Frontend Developer at Arcanys, you will play a crucial role in creating stable, fault-tolerant, and security standards-compliant front-end web applications. Your expertise will be leveraged to develop automated tests and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, testers, designers, and product owners, to bring products to life. The role is part of a remote team, offering the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, with a standard 5-day work week and flexible working hours.

What You Will Do

  • Develop stable, fault-tolerant, and security standards-compliant front-end web applications using React, Angular, or VueJS.
  • Create automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the applications.
  • Collaborate with other engineers, testers, designers, and product owners to develop a product.
  • Proactively identify and discuss possible UX and performance issues at any given time.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure the adherence to the company's coding standards.
  • Contribute to the improvement of the development process and the quality of the applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in frontend development.
  • Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure the implementation of the design specifications.
  • Ensure the applications are optimized for performance and security.

What We Are Looking For

  • At least 7 years of work experience, including 2 years of experience in Angular, React, or VueJS.
  • Experience with the ecosystems and tools related to these frameworks is important.
  • A good understanding and experience in HTML/CSS, and responsive design, including some CSS frameworks like TailwindCSS.
  • Knowledge of the fundamentals of the web like the HTTP protocol, TSL/SSL, basic security best practices, performance, and optimization.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Experience with software development best practices and clean coding principles.
  • Familiarity with Node.js, Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automated tests.
