About the Role

What You Will Do
- Own and build key features of the observability platform, focusing on both frontend and backend systems.
- Collaborate with open-source contributors and customers to solve their challenges and incorporate their feedback into the product roadmap.
- Supercharge HyperDX to efficiently process petabytes of observability data, unlocking groundbreaking analysis tools for engineers.
- Work on scaling the cloud-hosted platform to deliver seamless performance for a growing customer base.
- Engage in community building and support, fostering a strong developer community around Clickhouse’s products.
- Participate in the design and implementation of new features, ensuring they align with the company’s mission and vision.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
- Develop and maintain high-quality, reliable, and scalable code.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing support to internal and external stakeholders.
What We Are Looking For
- A full stack JavaScript developer with 5+ years of experience, preferably in building developer tools.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and React.js.
- Experience with SQL for query generation on ClickHouse.
- Proficiency in Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- A passion for open source and the developer community, with experience in creating developer tooling.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Driven to ship features that make a tangible impact for customers, with a focus on delivering high-quality software.
- Experience with Next.js frontend and Express backend.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.

- Expertise in distributed systems and event ingestion pipelines.
- Experience working with columnar databases.
