Job Description

About the Role

Mobena is seeking a dedicated UI Engineer to own the frontend of their flagship product, Mobena Evolution. This is a unique opportunity to build the UI from the ground up, working directly with the CTO and designer-founder to turn evolving Figma concepts into fast, maintainable, and scalable user interfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Choose and justify the frameworks and tools that best fit the company's needs
  • Build the UI from the ground up, establishing clear patterns for components, state management, styling, testing, performance, and accessibility
  • Collaborate to refine and re-frame existing screen designs in Figma
  • Connect the frontend to APIs (REST, GraphQL, or similar)
  • Lay groundwork for future mobile clients

Requirements

  • Experience shipping an interactive application via coursework, open source, side project, or professional work
  • Care about usability and design quality
  • Ability to learn by doing: building things rather than sitting in committee
