## About the Role As a FSP Vendor Management Specialist at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will play a critical role in managing third-party study vendors and ensuring the seamless delivery of clinical studies. You will be responsible for overseeing supply chain operations, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home and collaborate with a global team of professionals. You will be working with cross-functional teams to analyze demand requirements, manage purchase orders, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines, and collaborating with colleagues across different time zones. ## What You Will Do - Manage third-party study vendors, including study specification creation, collection, and finalization - Oversee the day-to-day management and oversight of third-party vendors at the study level - Ensure study-level contracted timelines and deliverables are clear and managed in the context of the vendor - Proactively identify, elevate, and escalate vendor issues that arise during study conduct to bring to resolution - Manage and measure the performance of vendors on assigned studies - Work with vendors to align KPI study delivery, management, and measurement of vendor performance - Demonstrate appropriate oversight of vendors through regular, well-structured meetings with vendors - Develop required study-specific vendor materials and support the coordination of vendor performance management meetings - Provide accurate and up-to-date study-level vendor information in relevant technology systems - Drive cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving to ensure study-level vendor risk identification and mitigation - Work closely with functional quality representatives to ensure vendors' project deliverables meet quality standards - Ensure vendors' compliance with relevant Sponsor policies and procedures - Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between SMT and vendors ## What We Are Looking For - High school diploma or equivalency (bachelor's degree preferred) - At least 2 years of experience in clinical operations management, managing clinical studies per quality, timeline, and budget expectations - Exceptional project management, risk assessment, contingency planning, and communication skills - Strong cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving skills - Knowledge of clinical study management, preferably related to one or more study phases (I, II, III) - Strong understanding and practical application of Good Clinical Practices (GCP), International Council for Harmonization (ICH) guidelines, and regulatory requirements for clinical development - Demonstrated ability to establish and execute vendor plans according to study needs - Clinical study management experience, preferably in a Sponsor company or CRO - Ability to work in a remote setting and collaborate with global teams ## Nice to Have - Experience with vendor management systems and technology - Knowledge of supply chain operations and logistics - Certification in clinical research or a related field - Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ## Benefits and Perks - Competitive salary and benefits package - Opportunity to work with a global company and collaborate with professionals from diverse backgrounds - Fully remote work arrangement, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance - Access to cutting-edge technology and tools - Professional development opportunities, including training and certification programs - Comprehensive health insurance and retirement savings plans - Paid time off and holidays - Remote stipend and equipment allowance
