## What You Will Do - Respond to interpreting sessions promptly and conduct them in a friendly, professional manner.
- Render correct concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocols, avoiding omissions or additions.
- Speak clearly in both languages, using proper pronunciation, enunciation, and polite expressions.
- Maintain a professional demeanor throughout interpreting sessions, remaining calm in stressful situations.
- Understand and follow client instructions, adhering to protocol to meet client expectations without interacting with the Limited English-speaking Person (LEP) without permission.
- Recognize and respect cultural differences, demonstrating commitment to cultural sensitivity.
- Process information quickly and concisely, understanding common industry procedures and practices.
- Translate verbally, without involvement in written translation, though translators and skilled linguists are encouraged to apply.
- Utilize Excel for data management and analysis as required.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and stay updated on industry practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong cultural competence and sensitivity, with an understanding of diverse cultural practices and norms.
