About the Role
The Bookkeeper position at Cube Care is a critical component of the company's financial management team, responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records. The Bookkeeper will report to the financial management team and will be expected to collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve financial goals. With a strong emphasis on teamwork and open communication, this role requires someone who can build strong relationships with colleagues and customers alike.
What You Will Do
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, including accounts receivable and payable
- Assist with month-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Reconcile sub-ledgers to the general ledger, identifying and resolving any discrepancies
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and collaborating with auditors
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure billing accuracy and timely invoicing
- Process customer payments and ensure accurate application of funds
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency
- Develop and maintain clear documentation of billing and accounts receivable procedures
- Provide financial support to the management team, including preparing reports and analyses
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
What We Are Looking For
- 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial concepts
- Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or NetSuite
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with financial data and preparing reports
- Familiarity with invoicing, collections, and reconciliations
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Nice to Have
- Experience in the healthcare, B2B, or service-based industries
- Familiarity with hospital or large institutional billing processes
- Experience supporting U.S. customers while working offshore
