Job Description

About the Role

As a Full-stack Developer at act digital, you will be working on a high-profile project that integrates the Charge app into the electric vehicle ecosystem for a leading German car manufacturer. This role requires a deep understanding of full-stack development, including Java, Spring Boot, and React. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless interaction between various Charge Point Operators (CPOs) and end-users, focusing on real-time synchronization of charging station data and delivering a smooth experience from locating a charger to invoicing.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient software systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Design and implement REST APIs, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange
  • Work with cloud platforms, microservices architecture, and message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
  • Develop and maintain frontend applications using React
  • Ensure continuous integration and deployment of software systems
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring high standards of quality and best practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, collaborating with the development team
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years of professional experience as a Full-stack or Backend/Frontend Developer
  • Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot
  • Solid frontend development skills using React
  • Experience working with cloud platforms and microservices architecture
  • Familiarity with message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) and NoSQL databases
  • Good understanding of REST API design, development, and testing practices
  • English proficiency at a B2 level
  • Experience with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Docker and containerization
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and secure coding principles
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
