About the Role

As a Full-Stack Developer at Implicit, you will be integral to the development of the company's AI Knowledge Engine for Maintenance and Support. This part-time role, based in the United States, offers the opportunity to work remotely with a talented team of data scientists, engineers, and thought leaders. Your primary focus will be on building responsive and interactive web applications using modern front-end technologies.

The successful candidate will work closely with the product team to implement designs, ensuring they are fully optimized across all platforms and browsers. This collaborative environment requires strong written and verbal English communication skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a remote or cross-functional team setting.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and maintain web interfaces using modern front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.
  • Collaborate with the product team to implement designs, ensuring full optimization across all platforms and browsers.
  • Write clean, maintainable code that is modular, well-structured, and follows best practices for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Optimize web performance through techniques like lazy loading, code splitting, and optimizing assets.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues, identifying problems and optimizing front-end code for improved speed and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain high coding standards and learn from team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with full-stack development trends, continuously learning and implementing new front-end technologies, techniques, and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of the next-generation AI product support platform.
  • Work closely with data science and product teams to integrate AI-driven solutions into the platform.

What We Are Looking For

  • A minimum of 3+ years of frontend web development experience, preferably with ReactJs.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), Typescript, and modern front-end frameworks.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and asynchronous programming.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows (GitHub, GitLab, etc.).
  • Ability to translate designs into high-quality, pixel-perfect user interfaces with a strong understanding of user experience best practices.
  • Excellent team player with strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment, especially with remote or cross-functional teams.
  • US Citizenship and current residence in the US due to government work requirements.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with state management tools like Redux, MobX, or Vuex.
  • Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress, etc.).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile development methodologies.
