About the Role

The engineering team at Cala Health is responsible for developing and maintaining the company's products, including the pioneering non-invasive prescription therapy for hand tremor. As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that the frontend and backend systems are scalable, efficient, and reliable. Your expertise will be essential in bridging the gap between complex backend logic and modern, interactive interfaces.

What You Will Do

• Design and develop user-facing frontend experiences that are interactive, intuitive, and visually appealing
• Develop and maintain backend logic that is scalable, efficient, and reliable
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation and ensure seamless integration with other systems
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall code quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing fixes
• Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and easy onboarding of new team members
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software development, applying this knowledge to continuously improve the company's products and services
• Work closely with the product team to understand product requirements and develop solutions that meet customer needs
• Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the software
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and operation of the software

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in full stack software development, with a strong focus on frontend and backend development
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
• Strong understanding of backend technologies such as Node.js, Ruby on Rails, or Django
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
• Strong understanding of software development principles, including design patterns, testing, and deployment
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Jenkins
• Experience with cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices
• Familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
