GenAI Application Engineer

About the Role

The role of a GenAI Application Engineer at DaCodes entails developing functional applications powered by artificial intelligence, including assistants, interactive dashboards, and generative solutions. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including product, design, data, and QA, in an agile and results-oriented environment. Your primary objective will be to convert ideas into navigable and scalable prototypes, integrating AI development tools and cloud services while maintaining high standards of quality, design, and user experience.

As a GenAI Application Engineer, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's success and contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud infrastructures.

What You Will Do

• Design and deliver functional prototypes of AI-powered solutions within short development cycles (2-12 weeks)
• Implement scalable and observable MVPs ready for production environments
• Integrate generative, predictive, or multimodal models using APIs or AI frameworks
• Create interactive dashboards and functional front-end components with consistent design and good user experience
• Develop reusable AI modules (prompts, agents, CI tasks) and document their usage for internal adoption
• Ensure security, privacy, and cost optimization in the consumption of generative models
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (product, design, data, QA) in an agile and results-oriented environment
• Participate in the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud infrastructures
• Work closely with the development team to identify and prioritize project requirements

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 3-4 years of experience in web full-stack or front-end advanced development
• Intermediate level with a genuine interest in applied AI and emerging tools
• Technical skills: Frontend (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Next.js, or Vue), Backend (Node.js or Python with at least 3 years of experience), APIs (REST, JSON handling, and development of integrations with cloud services, preferably AWS)
• Experience with cloud and DevOps tools (AWS Amplify, Lambda, Bedrock, Vercel, Supabase)
• Knowledge of data and ETL tools (Pandas, Airbyte, DBT, Airflow, SQL, Snowflake, or BigQuery)
• Familiarity with dashboard tools (Amazon Quicksight or other visualization tools)
• Understanding of AI and generative tools (Prompt Engineering, guardrails generation, PII, security)
• Experience with frameworks and agent-based tools (LangGraph, CrewAI, Strands Agents)
• Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, OpenSearch, Chroma, Qdrant)
• Understanding of RAG and fine-tuning models, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and n8n
• Familiarity with AI services in AWS (Personalize, Comprehend, Amazon Q)
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Lovable, Kiro, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot)
• Knowledge of project management and documentation tools (Notion, Trello, Linear)
• Good understanding of communication and collaboration tools (Slack, Google Meet, shared Docs)
